BREAKING: Communists Vandalize House Candidate Sean Parnell’s Home – Combat Vet Says ‘I Will Not Cower’

This type of criminal behavior is unacceptable anywhere, especially against a veteran who acted heroically in combat while serving our country.

“Sean Parnell, the Republican congressional candidate for Pennsylvania’s 17th District, said Sunday that his house has been vandalized just two days before Election Day.

“My house was vandalized last night by cowards under the cover of darkness,” Parnell wrote on Twitter. “This is what is at stake in this election. We all must fight for our country and we must do it NOW. I will not cower. I will not back down. I will always fight for this nation.”

A photo shared by Parnell shows his garage door spray-painted with the message “Elections No Revolutions Yes!” as well as an image of a hammer and sickle, a symbol associated with communism.

“Regardless of political party, those that choose to run for office do so because they believe they can help the country. It is perfectly reasonable to disagree with each other and with political candidates, but the way to do that is at the voting booth,” Parnell said in a statement issued Sunday. “I believe that we are at an important point in our great nation’s history and I most assuredly stand against socialism, violence, and destruction.”

He added that he hopes the American people can “respect our system of choosing our representatives in a peaceful and dignified way and no matter who we support and oppose.”

“We do it with our vote, and not through destruction of property and violence to our fellow Americans,” he said.

Parnell, a U.S. Army veteran, is running against incumbent Democratic Rep. Conor Lamb for a seat that the Cook Political Report currently rates as “leans Democratic.”

Pennsylvania is a key state for both Republicans’ and Democrats’ path to an election victory, holding 20 electoral votes. According to the latest average of polls by RealClearPolitics, Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden leads President Trump by an average of 4 percentage points.

As of Sunday, the United States Elections Project estimates more than 2.3 million people have cast votes early in the Keystone State.

Parnell’s campaign website tells of his service & heroic acts in combat:

“Army Ranger, combat infantryman with the elite 10th Mountain Division, and veteran of 485 days of fierce fighting along the Afghan-Pakistan border, Captain Sean Parnell’s unique leadership skills, welded his platoon into one of the most fierce and effective American fighting units in modern military history. Repeatedly outnumbered and outgunned by a foe whose avowed purpose was to overrun his platoon, Sean’s “Outlaws” battled furiously in the most rugged terrain on the planet—the towering Hindu Kush Mountains. Eighty-five percent of his platoon received Purple Hearts for wounds incurred in battle, but his men gave far more than they received. Outlaw Platoon killed over 350 enemy fighters in some of the biggest firefights of the Afghan War. His platoon remains one of the most decorated Army units since 9-11.

Sean was wounded in action on June 10, 2006, when his platoon was nearly overrun, for the first time, by a force that outnumbered them almost ten to one. Refusing to leave his men as they battled the enemy at point-blank range, Sean was knocked unconscious and wounded two more times during the firefight. Each time, he returned to his feet to lead his men again. His selfless example prompted one of his Soldiers to remark later, “Sean Parnell saved us all.”

After the June 10, 2006 battle, Sean continued to suffer from untreated head and neurological wounds. For weeks after, cerebral-spinal fluid leaked from his ears and nose while he continued to patrol with his men. His dedication to his men came at great personal cost: when he returned home following the 06 deployment, his wounds forced him from the army, and he was medically discharged.

Sean retired a highly decorated Captain and was awarded two Bronze Stars, one for Valor, and the Purple Heart.”
