BREAKING: Michigan County Goes Back To Trump After Recount – Officials Looking At ‘Software & Hardware’

A deep red county in Michigan that Trump won decisively in 2016 went overwhelmingly for Biden in the Nov. 3rd election. This set off alarm bells as to how that could happen. Now, after a partial recount of results that came from vote machines, the county has gone back to where it belongs, for Trump. This is what happens if we keep fighting!

Twin Cities Pioneer Press is reporting:

“BELLAIRE, Mich. — President Donald Trump didn’t win Michigan, but he can put a small county in the victory column after an unusual second look at the results.

Trump defeated Joe Biden in Antrim County, getting 56% of the vote, according to revised totals posted Thursday. Republican John James was the favorite in the Senate race.

“It certainly makes a lot more sense with people who are familiar with Antrim County,” said Jeremy Scott, deputy county administrator.

Questions were raised after the county first reported a local landslide for Biden, a Democrat, in an area that usually votes Republican. Officials acknowledged the results seemed “skewed” and promised a second look. More than 16,000 votes were cast.

It wasn’t a full recount of every ballot. Scott said results that were spit out by vote machines were tallied again.

“The machine itself counted the ballots correctly,” he said.

Scott said officials were working with the company that provides election software and hardware to determine what happened.”

Original story:

“This is insane. Trump won this deep red county 62% to 33%, around 4000 votes, in 2016. In this election, the county is showing Biden with a 3000 vote lead over Trump. That’s in a DEEP red county. This is why you keep fighting!

“Michigan officials are investigating voting irregularities in a deep red county that could improve the numbers for President Trump and Republican Senate candidate John James.

“How could Democrats take over this county?” asked Antrim County Clerk Sheryl Guy.

Trump won Antrim County over Democratic challenger Hillary Clinton 62% to 33% in 2016, a gap of about 4,000 votes. But on Wednesday morning, results out of Antrim County showed Democratic presidential contender Joe Biden leading the county by more than 3,000 votes with 98% of the results in.

Officials did not check the results before posting them, leading former state lawmaker and current Oakland County member of the State Board of Education Tom McMillin to question the results when he was checking returns for Board of Education candidates.

McMillin noticed that Biden and other Democratic candidates had more votes than would typically be expected in the county.

“It just looked weird,” McMillin said. “Two-thirds of the townships looked really messed up.”

Soon, the mysterious results out of Antrim County drew the attention of Michigan journalists and others, leading to the investigation.

Guy said electronic tapes and a computer card reflected accurate voting results, but some of the results were somehow scrambled after the cards were transported in sealed bags from local precincts to county offices.

Antrim County uses Dominion voting equipment, and election officials physically transport data instead of using cellular modems. Guy said the glitch in results could be the result of an unknown “human error.”

“It takes us back to the ‘80s, is what it does,” Guy said.

McMillin believes Trump and James will have a net vote gain of 4,000 to 5,000 votes when the error is corrected.

As of Thursday morning, Antrim County’s official results remain unknown.

The Trump campaign filed lawsuits Wednesday in several states, including Michigan. The campaign contends that it needs access to vote-counting sites so they can oversee the count of each ballot.

Campaign Manager Bill Stepien said campaign observers in Michigan have been denied access to the sites and is demanding they be able to “review those ballots which were opened and counted while we did not have meaningful access.””
