Was Trump Air Force One Iran Missile Story Leaked On Purpose?

I read the news about Iran apparently planning to shoot down Air Force One with President Trump on board and made a post on Facebook. It went viral.

There were a lot of comments about the possibility that the information was leaked on purpose.

I posted,

Iran was trying to take out Air Force One with a MISSILE when President Trump was leaving Turkey after attending the NATO summit! The CIC was secretly transferred to a different military plane to keep him safe!

USA Today is reporting, “President Donald Trump secretly flew out of Turkey on July 8 using a carefully staged deception that hid him in an airline catering container and moved him from Air Force One to another U.S. military aircraft, according to news reports.

The deception was used to thwart an Iranian assassination plot after a NATO summit in Turkey, The Washington Post and The New York Times reported. It involved multiple U.S. planes at the Ankara Esenboğa Airport.
Trump boarded Air Force One, a Boeing 747-200B, and reportedly exited the aircraft by a different door on the opposite side of the plane, away from public view. He was taken to a nearby jet, an Air Force C-32A, the military version of a Boeing 757.

Both planes soon departed Ankara and landed at RAF Mildenhall, an air base in England. Trump was reportedly secretly transferred back to Air Force One and exited the presidential jetliner, giving the impression he had been on the plane the entire flight.”

Heck yeah! We have the best Secret Service and military protecting the president and his family! Iran has to be punished for this! We should be lighting them up every day! Let’s Go! America!!!

Someone commented, “And it could have also been a setup to see if somebody was letting someone know exactly where he was I’ve heard that today through the news.”

Was information leaked on purpose to see who would make it public? Could be.

Fox News reported, “President Donald Trump said Tuesday that he follows the directions of the Secret Service and U.S. military when it comes to his security, addressing reports that he was moved between aircrafts as part of a security operation last month in Ankara reportedly prompted by an Iranian assassination threat.

“Well, it’s only up to the Secret Service. I just follow what they’d like to do,” Trump told reporters after traveling to Geneva, Ohio, for the Freedom 250 Patriot Games.

“So I go by the Secret Service and the military. They wanted me to go on a different flight, a different plane, equal safety,” he said.

“But they wanted me to do it, so I do it. I do what they say.”

“I guess there was a threat out there. I didn’t really ask too much about it. I get a lot of threats,” Trump said.

The president also went on to say that any “consequential president has a lot of threats.”

“Non consequential presidents don’t get threats,” he added.

The Washington Post first reported that Trump secretly switched to a military jet after appearing to board the older Air Force One in Turkey after the NATO summit.

Was the information leaked on purpose to see who would make it public? Possibly. If so, I hope they catch whoever did it and send them to Gitmo.
