Major Democrat influencers are spreading a lie about Rudy Giuliani, the mayor of New York City when terrorists attacked the Twin Towers there on September 11, 2001.
In a 2016 speech Giuliani gave for then-candidate Donald Trump, the former NYC mayor said that “Don’t tell me … you remember Sept. 11, 2001. I remember Sept. 11, 2001″
Giuliani went on, “I heard her say she was there that day. I was there that day. I don’t remember seeing Hillary Clinton there.”
“That was like when she said she had to run through gunfire. That turned out to be, what do we call it? A lie,” he told the crowd.
WATCH:
It’s 100% true that Hillary Clinton was not at Ground Zero on Sept. 11, 2001. She flew in and visited the city the next day with Chuck Schumer as was reported by all major media outlets.
Clinton was actually pictured with Giuliani on Sept. 12th, 2001. And Democrats and MSM use that photo to make it seem like the former NYC mayor was lying about not seeing Hillary “that day.”

But that’s the trick of the lie. There is a photo of Clinton and Giuliani together, but it isn’t from Sept. 11th, it’s from the 12th.
Giuliani said that he heard Clinton say she was there “THAT DAY.” What day was he referring to? SEPTEMBER 11TH, 2001.
So major Democrat influencers use just the photo of Hillary and Giuliani together with his words “I was there that day. I don’t remember seeing Hillary Clinton there” to make people believe he was lying or mistaken.
What Democrat influencers purposefully FAIL to mention is that the photo is from Sept. 12, 2001.
The Twitter/X account @NotHoodlum spread this lie and it has been seen by 2.6 million people so far. The account is a major Democrat influencer account which most likely is paid for by the DNC as many leftist political influencers are.
Hillary Clinton wasn't at Ground Zero on the day of the 9-11 attack. She was there the day after. She flew in with Chuck Schumer. @RudyGiuliani is correct. https://t.co/XnfIrW6E0Q

Another Democrat influencer, Ricky Davila, who has 407,000 followers on X, posted the same lie, and even added a lie of his own saying that HE remembers seeing Hillary at Ground Zero on 9-11. Remember, the photo was taken on Sept. 12! And Davila knows that.

The thing about this lie is, years later, Giuliani was confronted with the picture and apologized for saying Hillary wasn’t there but he shouldn’t have because he was correct. He literally said he didn’t remember seeing her there on SEPT. 11TH. And that’s true because she didn’t arrive until the next day.
Giuliani was most likely confused about the photo after so many years and no one explained to him that it was taken on Sept. 12, 2001.
One leftist responded to a discussion about the incident on X, saying Giuliani apologized, but of course, the leftist-Biden/Hillary acolyte is wrong.
He wasn't wrong. "But I heard her say one day that she was there that day," Giuliani said at a Trump rally in Ocala, Florida. "I was there that day. I don't remember seeing Hillary Clinton there."
"That day" was 9-11. Hillary didn't arrive until 9-12.

In October of 2016, Time Magazine reported on Giuliani’s statement, noting “Giuliani was referring to a recent interview Clinton gave CNN’s Chris Cuomo, where she described the “sickening experience” of touring Ground Zero.”
The CNN article began with: “Fifteen years later, the scene is still seared into Hillary Clinton’s memory.”
“We saw this curtain of black smoke that was stretched across the island,” Clinton recalled. “Occasionally it would be broken by a firefighter coming out. I remember one image so indelibly, dragging his ax, and it was as close to depiction of hell that I’ve ever personally seen.”
Below is the CNN interview:
When Giuliani said that Clinton wasn’t at Ground Zero on 9-11, and that he remembered hearing her say she was, he also may have been thinking about this incident at a Democrat primary debate in 2015 where she made it seem like she was in NYC on the day of the attacks.
CNBC reported at the time:
“Pressed by Sen. Bernie Sanders about her strong financial support from Wall Street, Clinton said: ”‘I represented New York, and I represented New York on 9/11 when we were attacked … Where were we attacked? We were attacked in downtown Manhattan, where Wall Street is. I did spend a whole lot of time and effort helping them rebuild. That was good for New York. It was good for the economy and it was a way to rebuke the terrorists who had attacked our country.’”
Clinton’s rivals wasted no time jumping on the comments as factually wrong and deeply insensitive. Former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley on Monday ripped Clinton, calling it “shameful” that the former secretary of state and New York U.S. senator linked 9/11 to her donations from Wall Street.
“I thought that moment, frankly, was pretty shameful. I don’t believe that the people watching were applauding the notion that Secretary Clinton was pumping out this smokescreen and wrapping herself in the tragedy of 9/11,” O’Malley said on CNN’s “New Day” program. “I don’t think they saw that as something appropriate to do, to mask her coziness and her closeness to Wall Street and all of the architects of the crash of 2008.”
Republicans got in on the act as well. RNC chair Reince Priebus Tweeted: ”@HillaryClinton, you reached a new low tonight by using 9/11 to defend your campaign donations.”
You can bet ad makers will have a field day with the remarks, using them to show that Clinton will say just about anything to win. And it did not get any better later in the debate when Clinton was asked to respond to a Twitter question from someone who said it was inappropriate to link Wall Street donations to 9/11.
Clinton’s response? “I am sorry if whoever tweeted that had that impression.” Saying it is the questioner’s fault for having that “impression” is the worst kind of non-apology.
Hillary never outright said she was at Ground Zero on 9-11, but people could come away with that impression based on her language. Giuliani most likely remembered that as well. And Democrats spread the lie (by omission) to this day.
