BREAKING: Conservative influencer Jake Lang has been BANNED from Texas by a judge!

Conservative influencer Jake Lang, who was arrested for allegedly threatening to kill Karmelo Anthony, has been BANNED from Texas by a judge!

Lang was being held on a $1 million bond and appeared before the SAME judge who presided over Anthony’s murder trial. The judge lowered the bond to $250,000, but Banned Lang from the state!

The Dallas Morning News is reporting, “Lang had been seeking to lower the $1 million bond that for over a week has kept him in custody in the Collin County jail, where he faces a charge of terroristic threat to place the public in fear of serious bodily injury, interrupting public services, or influencing a government, according to court records.

On X, a representative for Lang said he was arrested for saying that if the jury did not find Anthony guilty, he “would take care of it himself.” Another post said Lang “jokingly said he would carry out capital punishment on Karmelo.”

Lang’s defense sought a $15,000 bond, but Judge John Roach Jr. would only reduce it to $250,000.

The report said of the judge’s decision, “His conditions included banning Lang from the state of Texas and installing a GPS monitor prior to leaving the Collin County jail.”

Jake Lang, a conservative influencer who allegedly threatened to kill Karmelo Anthony, was banned from Texas Thursday by the judge who presided over Anthony’s murder trial earlier this month.

Lang had been seeking to lower the $1 million bond that for over a week has kept him in custody in the Collin County jail, where he faces a charge of terroristic threat to place the public in fear of serious bodily injury, interrupting public services, or influencing a government, according to court records. On X, a representative for Lang said he was arrested for saying that if the jury did not find Anthony guilty, he “would take care of it himself.” Another post said Lang “jokingly said he would carry out capital punishment on Karmelo.”

Despite the defense asking for a $15,000 cash bond Thursday, Judge John Roach Jr. agreed only to lower Lang’s bond to $250,000.

His conditions included banning Lang from the state of Texas and installing a GPS monitor prior to leaving the Collin County jail.

Roach was at the helm when Anthony, 19, was sentenced on June 9 to 35 years in prison for the fatal stabbing of Austin Metcalf, 17, last year at a high school track meet in Frisco. The case drew national attention and ignited a firestorm of racist and divisive rhetoric. Anthony is Black. Metcalf was white.  –Dallas News

“Do you understand what the rules are and how we play here?” Roach asked Lang.

“Yes, your honor,” Lang, wearing a bright yellow jumpsuit, replied.”

Wow! Texas doesn’t mess around, gotta say that! Also, emotions run high sometimes. You have to be careful what you say in public. Let’s not forget what this is all about. Rest in Peace, Austin Metcalf. May Karmelo never get paroled or early release.
