Conservative personalities & elected officials have been targeted for harassment much more often since Trump was elected president.
Earlier this year, Dem Rep. Maxine Waters told her supporters to go after officials in Trump’s administration.
At a rally she said, “If you see anybody from that Cabinet — in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station — you get out and you create a crowd. And you push back on them. And you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere.”
We’ve seen Sarah Sanders kicked out of out of a restaurant & harassed, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell verbally assaulted numerous times, and protestors swarm Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen at a Mexican restaurant in D.C. just to list a few. Even before Waters told her supporters to go after Republicans, the left has been targeting them. Last year a congressional baseball game was shot up with elected Republicans being the targets. Rep. Steve Scalise barely survived after being hit.
The most recent attack happened yesterday.
You may have seen Kat Timpf on Fox News or The Greg Gutfeld Show. She’s a witty millennial comedian & reporter who brings a different perspective on current events from a libertarian point of view. Aside from being a regular on Fox, Timpf is also a writer at the National Review.
I met Kat at CPAC last year while I was covering the event for my former employer, Freedom Daily. I can attest, she’s as cool in person as she is on TV.
Timpf appeared in a skit on The Greg Gutfeld Show earlier this year where they mocked leftists who target conservatives.
Yesterday Timpf tweeted, “I was just ran out of an establishment because of where I work. Chewed out, abused. But I guess that’s the norm now.”

Many people on Twitter came to her defense, some asking that she name the establishment so that it could be boycotted.

Today, though, she got some Major backup.
