Late last year I spent about a month covering the border in three states. I spent about $20,000 on pro camera gear and the trip. I have a professional drone, DSLRs, infrared prosumer 4K camcorder, camera gimbals, and much more film gear.
I plan on this tour being more permanent and am opening it up for small, recurring contributions or one-time donations to offset the costs. When we reach $5000 in recurring monthly contributions I will leave for the border. I intend to make this an ongoing project so we can perhaps get something done about the crisis, and I am looking at buying another infrared drone for night ops (I sold the last one I used to film cartel activity). I have a passport and may go into Mexico or other countries to film where illegal immigrants are coming from.

For those who don’t know me, I have been covering the border since 2019. I was the videographer and news editor for We Build the Wall, the organization which built the historic, first-ever private border wall on private land.
Since then I have traveled around the world and filmed border walls on three continents, and worked on the southern border every year with the likes of Ben Bergquam and others.
