Ashli Babbitt’s mother arrested outside Capitol

Ashli Babbitt’s mother was arrested as she visited the Capitol with a group of protesters.

I was filming on January 6th when Ashli was killed by Capitol Police. I was a bit down the street when she was killed.

According to the Post Millenial, “The mother of Ashli Babbitt, the woman killed by a United States Capitol Police officer on Jan. 6, was arrested outside of the Capitol on Friday, the two-year anniversary of her daughter’s death.”

In footage circulated on social media by streamer Woke Societies, Micki Witthoeft was seen being handcuffed and taken into custody by multiple police officers while onlookers protested.

“You murdered [Ashli] inside the Capitol, now you’re going to arrest her?” one onlooker said.

“I did not murder her daughter,” one officer replied in front of the crowd of people.

On Jan. 6, 2021, Babbitt, an unarmed Air Force veteran, was fatally shot by Lt. Michael Byrd. while attempting to make entry into the interior of the Capitol Building.

According to The National Pulse’s Raheem Kassam, Witthoeft was arrested for “jaywalking.”

2nd Anniversary Of January 6 – I Filmed All Day – No Violence

I actually filmed the March for Trump cross-country bus tour for 6 weeks. Amy Kremer of Women for America First contracted me to film the tour which culminated with the rally at the Ellipse on January 6th.

I filmed the entire event at the Ellipse where Trump spoke, and after at the Capitol Building. Not a single person that I saw had a gun except for the police and Secret Service. I did not see a single incidence of violence. On the contrary, people were saying not to get involved with the few people who went inside the Capitol Building and fought with the police.
