BREAKING: Suspicious Package Found At GOP Rep’s Office, Bomb Squad On Scene

Earlier today it was Democrats on the receiving end, now a suspicious package has been found at a Republican state lawmaker’s office.

CNN will surely blame Trump for this, also.

Police and fire crews are investigating an unattended package found outside of State Representative Thomas Murt’s office in Hatboro Wednesday night.

This discovery comes on the heels of several suspicious devices being sent to multiple Democratic politicos and CNN’s NY headquarters Wednesday.

State Representative Tom Murt is a member of the Republican Party.

The Montgomery County Bomb Squad is currently on the scene.

This investigation comes after suspicious packages which turned at to be pipe bombs were found at the homes of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. A pipe bomb was also sent to CNN and addressed to former intelligence official John Brennan.

Ironically, Brennan is an analyst for NBC News and does not work for CNN. Suspicious packages addressed to Rep. Maxine Waters and former Vice President Joe Biden have also been discovered.

It is unclear if this suspicious package is connected to the other packages found throughout the day on Wednesday. Residents in the area have been told to evacuate while police look into the situation. Murt’s office has also been blocked off with crime tape.

This week’s multiple occurrences of suspicious packages being connected to prominent figures began on Monday. A package was found at liberal philanthropist George Soros’ house in New York.”

Watch, no coverage of this by MSM tomorrow.

UPDATE: ALL CLEAR.

The Bucks County Courier Times is reporting:

“Police investigated a suspicious package outside State Rep. Tom Murt’s office on York Road on Wednesday night, but cleared the scene and declared it safe around 11 p.m.

HATBORO — Police investigated a suspicious bag outside State Rep. Tom Murt’s York Road office Wednesday night, but cleared the scene and declared it safe around 11 p.m.

Murt, R-152, nor any member of his staff were in the office at the time, officials said.

Someone walking by the office spotted what was described as a duffle bag and called police. Authorities alerted Murt and he headed to the scene.

“I’m at the office now and it looks like they just gave us the all clear,” he said Wednesday at about 11:10 p.m. “We don’t have any information yet about what happened or what it was. Our primary concern as always is public health and safety.”

Murt said people will sometime drop off food or coats for various charity drives in the community, but no one ever leaves bags outside the office.

“They always come in the office and leave it inside,” he said. “It would be very unusual for someone to leave something out front. When we heard, everyone was very, very concerned given what went on today throughout the country. The situation is under review by the police and we will have to wait for more information. Again, our concern is public safety and everyone’s well-being.”

Published reports said the discovery was made around 10 p.m. and the bomb squad investigated.

Pipe bombs packed with shards of glass were intercepted en route to several prominent Democrats, including Hillary Clinton and former President Barack Obama, on Wednesday. None of the seven bombs detonated and nobody was hurt as authorities in New York, Washington, D.C., Florida and California seized the suspicious packages, according to the Associated Press.”
