Donald Trump, the previous president, has urged states throughout the United States to support Texas in its endeavors to enhance border security in response to the practices of the Biden administration. In his remarks on Thursday, Trump condemned Biden for his inability to effectively protect the border, referring to the situation as a “National Security, Public Safety, and Public Health Catastrophe.”
Trump’s demand for action arises amidst the ongoing confrontation, which has Governor Greg Abbott of Texas going up against the Biden administration. Abbott, along with other Republican governors, has cited the Invasion Clause of the Constitution, asserting the duty to defend oneself from an uncontrolled flood of undocumented migrants.
“When I was President, we had the most secure Border in History,” Trump exclaimed. “Joe Biden has surrendered our Border, and is aiding and abetting a massive Invasion of millions of Illegal Migrants into the United States. “Instead of fighting to protect our Country from this onslaught, Biden is, unbelievably, fighting to tie the hands of Governor Abbott and the State of Texas, so that the Invasion continues unchecked.”
“When I am President, on Day One, instead of fighting Texas, I will work hand in hand with Governor Abbott and other Border States to Stop the Invasion, Seal the Border, and Rapidly Begin the Largest Domestic Deportation Operation in History. Those Biden has let in should not get comfortable because they will be going home,” the former president declared.

“Several Republican governors have heeded Trump’s call. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem, among others, have pledged to send resources to support Texas. DeSantis, echoing Trump’s sentiments, also accused the Biden administration of flouting the law and undermining state efforts to secure the border,” according to Trending Politics News.
Gov. Noem and Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt also expressed their support for Texas, highlighting a growing coalition of states opposed to Biden’s border policies.
Governor Abbot is 1000% correct. If Joe Biden won't secure the border, the States will.
God bless Texas!! https://t.co/ICVQS52ptH

Governor Abbott has been especially vocal, mobilizing the Texas National Guard and suing the federal government for interfering with state-level border security measures. The move has drawn criticism from Democratic leaders, who accuse Abbott of political grandstanding and endangering both U.S. citizens and asylum seekers.

Rep. Greg Casar (D-TX) and former Rep. Beto O’Rourke (D-TX) have compared Abbott’s actions to those of historical figures who defied federal authority, calling for decisive federal intervention.

The border crisis has become a focal point of national debate, with House Republicans considering impeachment proceedings against Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.
Abbott released an urgent declaration on Wednesday, emphasizing Texas’ constitutional entitlement to defense against harm. ““President Biden has refused to enforce those laws and has even violated them, leading to record numbers in illegal immigration,” Abbott asserted. He referenced more than 6 million illegal aliens crossing the border in the last three years, which he asserts have resulted in unparalleled damage across the country.
Abbott’s declaration came after the Texas National Guard took measures to place barbed wire along certain sections of the Texas-Mexico border, in direct opposition to a decision made by the Supreme Court. Although the court ruled in favor of the Biden administration’s decision to remove the wire, Texas soldiers went forward with the deployment near Eagle Pass, Texas.
“President Biden has violated his oath to faithfully execute immigration laws enacted by Congress. Instead of prosecuting immigrants for the federal crime of illegal entry, President Biden has sent his lawyers into federal courts to sue Texas for taking action to secure the border.” Abbott exclaimed.
“James Madison, Alexander Hamilton, and the other visionaries who wrote the U.S. Constitution foresaw that States should not be left to the mercy of a lawless president who does nothing to stop external threats like cartels smuggling millions of illegal immigrants across the border,” he added.

Rep. Clay Higgins (R-TX) recently called on Texas to firmly maintain their position. Nevertheless, critics perceived these advancements as having the potential to provoke a civil conflict.
“The razor wire installation is part of Governor Abbott’s Operation Lone Star, initiated to curb illegal immigration. The operation also included busing migrants to Democratic-led cities and arresting migrants on trespassing charges. The Biden administration has opposed these measures, arguing that they hinder federal agents and contravene federal laws,” TPN continued.
The Supreme Court’s decision against the wire installation was a narrow 5-4 ruling in favor of the President.
Border reporter Jeff Rainforth recently spent 7 weeks camped out on the border in Lukeville, Arizona, filming the endless waves of illegal aliens coming through cuts in the border wall.
“When Steve Bannon first saw my first videos from Lukeville, he called it “apocalyptic.” And it really did look that way because of the sun going down, dust in the air, endless miles of border wall and equally endless waves of illegal aliens from all over the world coming down the border road. It is surreal. Seeing it firsthand is unreal,” Rainforth reported.
