The tax authority has just dealt a significant blow to another individual from the Biden family, notifying her that she is liable for a substantial amount of money in outstanding tax payments. The disclosure, initially revealed by Fox News, is another piece of evidence of the intense pressure faced by various relatives of President Joe Biden to capitalize on his influence and position.
A tax lien docket just released by the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue reveals that Ashley Biden, the daughter of the president, has an outstanding debt of $5,000 for unpaid tax bills accumulated from 2015, under her father’s vice presidency, until 2021, shortly after he assumed office again. The letter states that the “amount of such unpaid tax, interest, additions or penalties is a lien in favor of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania upon the taxpayer’s property – real, personal, or both.”
Liens are the government’s endeavor to recover outstanding tax payments from taxpayers following several unsuccessful attempts. They are generally used as a final recourse against individuals who disregard correspondence and refuse to establish payment arrangements.
Garrett Ziegler, the president of nonprofit organization Marco Polo and former advisor to President Trump, expressed to Fox News that Ashley Biden’s difficulties serve as just another illustration of the Biden family’s disregard for legal boundaries.
“The scale is not anything like Hunter, but… Joe is constantly talking about how wealthy and connected people do not pay their fair share and can’t afford to pay more, and it just so happens that both of his living children did not pay their taxes,” he told Fox.
“This is just another example of the Bidens being careless. Like, you’d think that they would show a little bit more prudence when you’re the first when you’re the American first family to make sure you don’t have any tax liens on you, especially going into an election year.”
Ziegler, the founder of a website devoted to disseminating incriminating documents and photographs discovered on Hunter Biden’s laptop, stated that his staff came upon Ashley Biden’s tax invoices while conducting a usual review of the family’s data. He clarified that he is not a Republican advocate actively seeking a role in any forthcoming government.
“None of us are registered Republicans,” he went on. “In fact, I loved and still love Trump precisely because he wasn’t a standard Republican. So this is not a hit job. We’re going to keep all the photos that paint the Bidens in a good light and keep all the photos that paint the Bidens in a bad light. The American people can judge for themselves what they think about their first family through this.”
Ashley Biden, aged 42, is the sole offspring of President Biden and First Lady Jill Biden. Based on her LinkedIn page, she has mostly worked in the field of social justice throughout her career and is currently employed by the Delaware Center for Justice, a nonprofit organization focused on reforming the criminal justice system.
The revelation of tax difficulties concerning another member of the family may intensify the House Republicans’ inquiry into the family’s financial gains during President Biden’s tenure as vice president and the subsequent years. James Biden, the brother of the president, and his wife Sara Biden are being investigated by House Oversight Chair James Comer (R-KY). Comer has issued a subpoena requiring the couple to provide an explanation for a $40,000 payment given to the president, which was labeled as a “loan repayment.” The funds were demonstrated to have originated from shell corporations established by Hunter Biden and his friends with the purpose of channeling money from international business transactions to other members of the family.
Recently, we reported that “aides to President Joe Biden and Democratic Party officials have differing opinions on the electoral ramifications of Hunter Biden’s legal counteroffensive.”
According to eight individuals who are closely associated with President Biden and his son, Hunter Biden’s assertive legal approach is viewed differently by Biden’s advisers and Democratic strategists in terms of its impact on the president’s electoral prospects for reelection, as reported by Politico.
According to a former campaign assistant from 2020, certain White House personnel are “irritated that he’s being more aggressive, because he is not clearing the tactics and the strategy.” According to Politico, other assistants are worried that Hunter Biden’s legal strategies are drawing more attention to his international business activities and personal controversies.
According to a source close to Hunter Biden’s legal team, he regularly provides his father with updates on his legal actions, and his legal advisors notify the White House in advance of any significant legal determinations.
Hunter Biden and his legal team have full authority over the legal proceedings, including the recent endeavor to get court approval for subpoenas targeting former President Donald Trump and former officials from Trump’s Department of Justice.
