President Trump has established an important difference between himself and Joe Biden about Texas’ efforts to protect its border.
During a rally in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Saturday, Trump declared that instead of issuing a restraining order to Texas, he would dispatch additional forces.
Trump, as reported by Newsmax, stated to supporters, “When I’m president, instead of trying to send Texas a restraining order, I will send them reinforcements.”
“Instead of fighting border states, I will use every resource, tool, and authority of the U.S. president to defend the United States of America from this horrible invasion that is taking place right now,” he declared during the live broadcast on Newsmax TV.
If Trump regains the presidency, he intends to “deploy all necessary military and law enforcement resources to seal up the final section of the border.”

The 45th president stated: “We built over 500 miles of wall.
Usually, you like to know the other side, and you like to know where the other side’s coming from.

“With the Hispanic vote, we’re doing better now than the Democrat Party,” he added, continuing, “We’re going to repeal the invasion.”
Upon assuming office, he declared that the state of the border was in a state of chaos. However, he implemented numerous measures to rectify the situation to such an extent that he was unable to make it a focal point of his 2020 campaign.
“I didn’t have the border to run on because I did such a good job with the border that the border wasn’t an issue.
I did such a good job. I took it out of play. And now I’m saying the border is in play like it’s never been in play before because what they’ve done is they’ve taken all of the things that I did to make it so good.
Literally, we couldn’t put it in a speech. Nobody wanted to hear about the border. We had no border problem.”
“Crooked Joe Biden is fighting Texas to tear down our beautiful border security down there.”
From my time on the border near Lukeville, Arizona. The port of entry closed because so many illegal aliens were there. Mostly male illegal aliens from the African countries of Senegal and Guinea which are majority Islamic. Tensions were very high because people tried to cut in… pic.twitter.com/COoB6te6AE

“There has never been a country where millions and millions of people can flow in with no vetting, no checking, no nothing.”
“We don’t know who they are. We don’t know where they come from, and we have no idea what we’re doing with our country. Our country’s going to hell because of incompetent or bad people.”
He expressed gratitude to Texas Governor Greg Abbott for using the invasion clause to defend his state.
Last week, Trump urged states to support Texas in its endeavors to enhance border security in response to the practices of the Biden administration. In his remarks last Thursday, Trump condemned Biden for his inability to effectively protect the border, referring to the situation as a “National Security, Public Safety, and Public Health Catastrophe.”

Trump’s demand for action arises amidst the ongoing confrontation, which has Governor Greg Abbott of Texas going up against the Biden administration. Abbott, along with other Republican governors, has cited the Invasion Clause of the Constitution, asserting the duty to defend oneself from an uncontrolled flood of undocumented migrants.
10/29. One of the insane scenes I saw on the border in Lukeville. BP occasionally had the illegal aliens march from the tent camp to the port of entry on a backroad when there were too many to transport. CC: @DustinStockton pic.twitter.com/Nf6qJIjTOX

“When I was President, we had the most secure Border in History,” Trump exclaimed. “Joe Biden has surrendered our Border, and is aiding and abetting a massive Invasion of millions of Illegal Migrants into the United States. “Instead of fighting to protect our Country from this onslaught, Biden is, unbelievably, fighting to tie the hands of Governor Abbott and the State of Texas, so that the Invasion continues unchecked.”
“When I am President, on Day One, instead of fighting Texas, I will work hand in hand with Governor Abbott and other Border States to Stop the Invasion, Seal the Border, and Rapidly Begin the Largest Domestic Deportation Operation in History. Those Biden has let in should not get comfortable because they will be going home,” the former president declared.
“Several Republican governors have heeded Trump’s call. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem, among others, have pledged to send resources to support Texas. DeSantis, echoing Trump’s sentiments, also accused the Biden administration of flouting the law and undermining state efforts to secure the border,” according to Trending Politics News.
Abbott released an urgent declaration last Wednesday, emphasizing Texas’ constitutional entitlement to defense against harm. ““President Biden has refused to enforce those laws and has even violated them, leading to record numbers in illegal immigration,” Abbott asserted.
Abbott’s declaration came after the Texas National Guard took measures to place barbed wire along certain sections of the Texas-Mexico border, in direct opposition to a decision made by the Supreme Court. Although the court ruled in favor of the Biden administration’s decision to remove the wire, Texas soldiers went forward with the deployment near Eagle Pass, Texas.
